GUERNSEY

1966 - 2003

Mooroolbark Football Club was established in 1966 and participated in what is now known as the Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL). Known as the Falcons, we wore dark green and gold striped guernseys for the first 37 years of our existence and winning 1 senior premiership.

2003 - 2023

2 years after rebranding as the "Mustangs" we changed our guernsey to a brighter green with gold slashes from hip to opposite shoulder with original Mustang logo in the middle of the design. Variations of this design would be worn until 2023 with a single senior premiership added to the tally.

2011 - 2023

Due to a clash of guernsey colours with rival clubs, an away strip was added to the wardrobe. The away strip was black in the same style as the home guernsey with green and gold slashes and original Mustang logo in the centre. This was used as an away/clash style until 2023 when a modern take on our original guernsey was introduced.

2021 - 2023

2023 - Present

With the introduction of the Senior Women's team in 2021 a new guernsey was commissioned to be worn only by our women's team. This guernsey was the exact same as the Men's guernsey but featured pink colouring between the slashes and no back panel for the numbers.

During the 2023 season a new clash/ special guernsey was produced as a modern take on our original guernsey. Debuting in an away game against Bayswater instead of the black clash strip, the guernsey was worn again 2 more times that season. At the beginning of 2024 it was decided to return full time to the original guernsey with all teams (excluding veteran women) making the switch.
