It is with great pleasure that we have added some new names - and welcomed back some old faces! - over the off-season.

It's going to be a huge 2018.

We are thrilled to announce the return of Team of the Half-Century member,

2009 premiership player and Mooroolbark great Matt Polkinghorne to the Mustangs in 2018. We are so happy to welcome Matt, Mallory, little Rylee and the entire Polkinghorne gang back to the Heights after some time at Wandin. It is set to be a huge year and having 'Polky' back in green and gold will be a massive part of that.

It is with great pleasure that Mooroolbark Football Club welcomes back past player Troy Wright to the Stable. This signing was a coup for the club as Troy's experience playing in Division.1 over the previous few seasons will be of massive benefit to our emerging young list. Troy has had stints with Croydon (whilst in Div.1), East Ringwood and Montrose and was a key position player in each of those teams. Troy has played most of his footy down back but will be used in a number of roles next season as his size and skill could be utilised all over the ground. Troy played a lot of his junior football with Mooroolbark and played some senior footy here back in 2008. It's great to have you return Troy and the committee, coaching staff, members and supporters of the club welcomes you and your family back to the club and look forward to seeing you running around in the green & gold again.

Dean comes to us with a wealth of experience and some of his accomplishments are shown below.

2005 Oakleigh Chargers B&F 2006 Oakleigh Chargers Premiership Captain & BOG (Grand Final) 2007 Port Melbourne best 1st year player 2008-2009 EFL Div.1 'Team of the Year' whilst playing at Noble Park 2013 Central Highland 'Team of the Year', 2nd in league B&F, Interleague & Vic Country representative (Waubra) 2014 VAFA 'Team of the Year' whilst playing at Mazenod Dean's achievements speak for themselves and he comes to the club as a 'utility' type player that will give us many options for season 2018. He brings leadership and a hard competitive nature that will be of great assistance in us going forward.

The committee and coaching staff are pleased to announce the arrival of new

recruit Andrew Hunter to the stable for next season. Andrew was a premiership player in 2012 & 2013 with Narre Warren Football Club and also named in the SEFNL 'Team of the Year' in seasons 2011, 2012 & 2014 at centre half-back. He is a competitive key backline player who continuously gets the job on the oppositions best forwards and will no doubt be an important cog down back for the Mustangs.

Paul comes to us from neighboring football club Croydon and brings with him height, skill and athleticism that will be crucial in our on field plan for next season.

Paul has played most of his footy primarily in the back line with the occasional move into the ruck and the coaching staff and playing group are extremely excited by Paul's arrival. He has fitted in with ease during the preseason training and looks a picture in the green and gold.
